Miao Yue’s eyes darted about, as if she were hatching some mischievous plan.

She thought this was her chance to ingratiate herself with Lin Tao and Guo Yuxue.

The crowd was even more astounded. Not only was there a medical team, but it included Master Chen and President Yao, the two top experts in National Medicine in all of Jingnan Prefecture. How was that possible? There were only a handful of people in the entire prefecture who could pull off something like that, and Chen Chong’s family certainly wasn’t one of them.

Qin Shuang couldn’t stop himself from glancing at Yang Qi. "What tricks did you use to make a child lie so outrageously? This has gone too far."

"Believe what you want," Yang Qi said, not bothering to explain.

What’s the point of explaining to people like this? It’s just a waste of time.
